Brad Bond

President

Brad Bond, President of Midwest Engineering, is responsible for managing the two branch offices in Alberta, setting corporate goals for Midwest Engineering, as well as managing and developing distribution, parts, and service.
Before joining the company in 2009, he spent 9 years with McQuay International which was acquired by Daikin Industries in 2006. His combined experience of working for McQuay and Midwest engineering has given him extensive experience in the HVAC industry.
Brad has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Brad was also a past president of the Southern Alberta ASHRAE Chapter.

Reagan Tyson

Reagan Tyson joined the team in 2012 and became a partner in 2016. After graduating from SAIT as an Engineering Technologist, Reagan began his career working for a start-up boiler manufacturer in Calgary. He has continued to cultivate a strong HVAC skill set with a specialty in Hydronics. When working on a design he prides himself on always sourcing the right solution to meet the project requirements for both performance and budget.  When it comes to delivering results, Reagan dedicates a high level of effort and expertise regardless of project size to ensure that all jobs run as smooth as possible. Perhaps one of Reagan's greatest strengths is addressing issues head-on if they arise so the project can continue to propel forward to completion.

Mike Krobel

Mike has been part of Southern Alberta’s HVAC sales industry for over 17 years and became a partner with Midwest Engineering in 2009. Mike has extensive experience in multiple HVAC system design areas, product selection, project management, and system troubleshooting.  Over the years, Mike has mainly worked with commercial mechanical contractors focusing on large scale institutional, commercial and residential high rise towers. Mike approaches each project, large or small, with an understanding that the main goal is to assist his customers throughout the entire building process. At the end of the day, the pride of ownership is paramount for everyone involved.

Glenn Davio

Glenn joined the Midwest team as a partner in 2009. Glenn has an extensive background in the design and fabrication of custom air handling systems, chilled water systems, data center solutions, and industrial application HVAC systems. Glenn’s high level of technical expertise provides a great resource for consulting engineers, EPC companies and design-build contractors when they are looking for an HVAC equipment partner to work with on technically complex projects. Glenn has worked on a wide array of flagship projects for Alberta’s largest institutions and companies. As a partner in Midwest Glenn manages the industrial HVAC division within Midwest which specializes in hazardous equipment installations in classified and process areas on Alberta oil sand projects. Glenn is also the Midwest account manager for some of the Calgary area’s largest commercial HVAC consulting engineering firms.

Kent Hansen

Principal

Kent Hansen, Principal at Midwest Engineering, holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.  Kent joined Midwest Engineering in 2011 in a Technical Sales position. In 2016 Kent became a Partner and Principal of the Edmonton branch where he continues a role in contracting sales. Kent also takes on a leadership role in corporate growth, mentorship, and corporate initiatives.
